Kimball Family Association Genealogy
Reunion Survey Results
The results of our Reunion Survey are in. The consensus is to have a two day Reunion at an historical site, with
a genealogy speaker, with most respondents willing to pay a little extra for a guest speaker. There is one
conflict in the answers: The West coast was preferred by respondents over the East coast.
However, the East coast has most of the historical locations, so it seems like the East coast might be the better
choice. If anyone has suggestions as to an historical location in another part of the country other than the East
coast, please email us.

2012 Reunion
Another successful year
Our
annual family reunion was held in Peabody, MA near Boston on Sept. 14 & 15. The reunion was extended to include
a social evening on Friday to give folks attending time to get to meet new people and catch up on old friends as
well as share genealogy lines.
Photos
are now posted to our Reunion gallery. If you want to know more about the reunion, go
to our 2012 Reunion page.
In Memoriam
Judith Kimball passes away unexpectedly
The
KFA is saddened to bring our friends the news that our genealogist, Judy Kimball, passed away on Wednesday, July
25, at 83 years old. She and her husband, Lt. Col. George Henry Kimball Jr., were responsible for much of the genealogy
research until he passed in 1997. Since then, Judy has continued on with help from KFA's genealogy committee. She
will be missed by all of us, but especially by members who have been with KFA for many years. More...
Web Site Update
We've
added a great link to our Kimball/Resources page: Bradford
Burial Ground. This site, created by John Hardy, has all 700+ gravestones in the Old Bradford Cemetery
at Bradford, MA (near Haverhill). There are many Kimballs buried in this cemetery, including Benjamin Kimball,
Richard's son. A great site to document the births and deaths of our early ancestors.

KFA is a non-profit organization that depends on volunteers to run it. But there are still expenses to make this
a viable organization. We depend completely on our dues to fund our activities. The $10 annual dues provide the
revenue for:
- Research for the new volume IV of History of the Kimball Family in America. The books are sold at COST so
we do not make a profit from our books.
- Defrays some costs of the annual Reunion meeting.
- Revenue for running the organization.
