There is also much more to enjoy; llike meeting relatives you didn't know you had; researching ancestors with the help of our KFA genealogist, Judith Kimball; enjoying the fabulous catering; or just touring the New England countryside at the beginning of fall. Web Site UpdateThose viewers who are regular visitors will notice that this site has had some housekeeping done on it. The appearance and navigation of the old site was years out of date and information needed to be placed under logical categories. So the current navigation is reorganized to make it easier to find what you want. There is also a minor facelift to make it easier to read. The Home Page is updated, removing the "splash page" images to make room for news, events, and promotions. In the near future, the KFA Web site will get a whole new design. More... Honoring Our MilitaryFree Membership Have You Paid?Annual dues of $10 were due July 1st, 2010 for Fiscal Year 2011. The annual dues provide the revenue for running the organization and for printing and distribution of the Newsletter. KFA is a non-profit organization that depends on volunteers to run it. That includes our genalogist and her helpers who have been working tirelessly to update "The Kimball's in America, Vol II". Also, $2.50 goes to the Scholarship Fund. Note: It takes 200 members to give one $500 scholarship. As you can see there is a lot of additional fund raising to give additional scholarships. Please encourage your adult children or relatives to join the association as our dues are only $10.00 per year. Here is how and where to pay. More... |
