We're up to 75 fans on our new KFA Facebook. We are also pleased that there is a fair amount of discussion from the particpants about their Kimball relatives and ancestors. This site allows us to post pictures of your Kimball ancestors, start discussion about your research, ask questions to get help from others, and add links to helpful genealogy sites. And for the avid genealogist in your family, KFA has just finished Volumes II & III of "The Kimball Family in America". Profits from these goods go to sponsor an educational scholarship for a deserving Kimball. And we have the perfect "stocking stuffer": a $10 annual membership to the Kimball Family Association. The membership fees support the extensive research being done to complete Volumes IV and V as well as other cost like the scholarships and quarterly newsletter. KFA is a non-profit, all volunteer organization.

2012 Reunion Plans

Holiday Inn Lobby The 2012 annual Kimball Family Association Reunion will be held on September 15, 2012 at the Holiday Inn and Suites in Peabody, MA. The Reunion committee had a number of requests to extend the length of the reunion to provide time for travelers to focus on genealogy and socialize. Feedback is needed from KFA members in order to commit to a Friday (September 14, 2012) evening gathering at the Holiday Inn and Suites, where genealogy and socializing would be the theme. New KFA Officers

Judith Miller, Pres. & Al Hall, past Pres. At this year's Reunion and Annual Meeting, new officers were elected. Judith Miller moved from 1st VP to President replacing Al Hall who has served for two years. Both are pictured to the left. A newcomer to KFA, Jared Handspicker, has been elected 1st VP, and Marion Bowden remains as 2nd VP.The officers volunteer their time for all of these positions and their duties require a significant effort to make our non-profit organization successful. KFA welcomes our new officers and thanks the past officers for their dedication and service. Other KFA officers are listed on our Current Officers page.

A Kimball married to a Merritt? Our "Who Do You Know" column continues. We are featuring photos of unknown Kimballs that hopefully someone else will be able to identify. Members are encouraged to send us your picture(s) with a 250-300 word article about facts relating to the photos, so please join. Email mykimball AT kimballfamilyassociation DOT com.
