Why Join?

KFA is a non-profit organization that depends entirely on its member dues to pay for its research and other activities. The History of the Kimball Family in America books are sold at COST so we do not make a profit from our books.

How to Join

New members download this membership application. Renewing members use this form. Send your applications along with a check for $10.00 to us at KFA, PO BOX 453, W. Kennebunk, Me 04094 or fax the form to the number on the application and mail in your check. Annual dues are payable at the end of our fiscal year in June.

HOW TO PAY:

Please make checks payable to and mail to:

Kimball Family Association
PO Box 453
West Kennebunk , ME 04094

Benefits:

The annual dues of $10.00 provide the revenue for:

  • Research for the new volumes of History of the Kimball Family in America, the distribution of the newsletter.
  • Defrays some costs of the annual Reunion meeting.
  • Revenue for running the organization.
  • Monthly fees for Constant Contact who distributes our email newsletter, plus costs for printing and mailing the newsletter for members without an internet connection. It contains articles not found anywhere else about the Kimball Family history contributed by our genealogist, Judy Kimball, and by other KFA members.
  • Also, $2.50 goes to the Scholarship Fund. Note: It takes 200 members to give one $500 scholarship. As you can see there is a lot of additional fund raising for each scholarship given.

KFA is a non-profit organization that depends on volunteers to run it. That includes our genalogist, Judith Kimball, and her helpers who have been working tirelessly to update The Kimball's in America, Vol IV & V.

Please encourage your adult children or relatives to join the association as our dues are only $10.00 per year.

The Fiscal Year for KFA runs from July 1 to June 30th; The current year is from July 1 2012 to June 30th 2013. Annual dues of $10 are due July 1st, 2012 for Fiscal Year 2013.
