Reunion 2012

Plans

The 2012 annual Kimball Family Association Reunion will be held on September 15, 2012 at the Holiday Inn and Suites in Peabody, MA. The Reunion committee had a number of requests to extend the length of the reunion to provide time for travelers to focus on genealogy and socialize.

Feedback is needed from KFA members in order to commit to a Friday (September 14, 2012) evening gathering at the Holiday Inn and Suites, where genealogy and socializing would be the theme. The committee is open to other suggestions. Please provide your suggestions and if you would attend a Friday night social to the reunion committee by January 31, 2012, so a per person cost can be generated. If there is enough interest in the Friday night social and genealogy event, the present plan is to have space and tables available for displays relating to Kimballs. Appetizers and beverages would be included.

Peabody is in Essex county where history, witch stories and sites, museums, etc. abound. This hotel is conveniently located 10 miles north of Boston, adjacent to U.S. Route 1, near Interstate 95. The Holiday Inn offers a fitness center, heated indoor pool and many nearby restaurants. Presently, a block of 10 rooms is being held for KFA guests for Friday evening.
